It was a normal day that afternoon, I don't remember the exact date. I was staring at my Google+ stream and just then saw a Key Lime Pie concept that surfaced on one of the communities. Just then, I thought of making one of my own.
I opened Photoshop on my PC and made a new PSD with resolution of the Nexus 4 - 768x1280, it is a device that I love the most and I am wanting to have one, and yeah soon it will be mine. Okay, so I made that and then first decided what wallpaper it will have. I took the gradient tool and filled it with a gradient of light blue to pink. Then made a clock, an analog one and after that, saved it and closed straightaway. I shutdown the PC and stopped thinking about it..png)
That's the one that you see above. This was the rough idea that I had first made and later forgot it too. Even the PSD that you see above was not known to me again even after the final concept was ready as I had saved it in a location where I don't visit much on my PC. I found it more than a month later when I published my first Android app based on this concept.
So, after about an hour later, I again thought of doing it. I created another PSD with a green-orange gradient, then made the clock and then the search bar and just posted it on Google+.
Got some appreciation for that, till now, 13 +1's. I got happy and thought of doing something more. So I created the in-call phone UI and the call screen (with my own number :P) and this was again awesome! It got even more love from people many more +1's.
Some people started asking me to give links to the UCCW files and I told them that this is just a photoshop-made concept design. To that, someone told me, it can be made real easily.
